Safety routines
At the gate
We walk the gate and the deck with you at the start of every lesson. Your family follows its own local pool rules, and we don't inspect pools.
On the deck
Phones stay away from the water's edge. A lesson is no substitute for adult supervision, so the adult stays and watches.
Heat and weather
On the hottest evenings we start later and take breaks in the shade. Lightning or strong wind ends a lesson, and we make it up.
Getting to the wall and the steps
Every lesson practices getting to the wall and to the steps, with the instructor beside the swimmer.
